Certified (sworn) translation
Certified translations (also known as sworn translations) are undertaken by a certified translator registered with the Ministry of Justice at https://www.gov.pl/web/sprawiedliwosc/tlumacze-przysiegli. Our team has certified translators of English and German.
Certified translations differ from ordinary translations in that they have official validity. Traditional certified translations are printed, with their legal validity established by the certified translator’s official seal, which the translator stamps on the printed translation, along with their handwritten signature. Digitization allows for the new option of certifying a document electronically, using a qualified electronic signature. This signature holds the same legal weight as a traditional certification. However, it is important to note that a translation certified by a qualified electronic signature becomes non-binding once the document is printed, since the process involves a special certificate that is integral to the certified file.
The benefits of electronically certified translations include the simple and convenient process and significant time savings – as documents are sent digitally over the internet, eliminating the need to print out the translation, visit the translation bureau in person, or hire a courier. This all serves to minimize handling costs.
NB: After placing an order with us for a translation certified by a qualified electronic signature, you can always request a printed version of the translation. And vice versa.
Specialized translation
In addition to commercial and business projects, we also carry out specialized translations in diverse fields, including health care and clinical trials, nuclear energy, and art history. Our translation services encompass websites, marketing texts, newsletters, advertising materials, academic papers, historical documents, trade directories, travel guides, and the list goes on!
Interpretation
We provide interpretation services, including sworn interpretation performed by a certified interpreter accompanying the client, such as during meetings with a notary public. Clients most often engage an interpreter for consecutive or whispered interpreting, for example as accompanying support during business meetings or in-house training sessions and presentations. We also organise simultaneous interpretation upon request.
